Før sommeren organiserte NILA konkurransen Årets vekstinnredning 2020. Våre medlemmer sender inn sine beste prosjekter med levende planter som de har levert i løpet av 2020, og deretter får alle medlemsbedrifter stemme på sin favoritt. NILA is currently working in a project together with Loops to move the education on to a new modern platform. The Annual General Meeting in 2020 made a unanimous decision to implement a name change to the Nordic Interior Landscaping Association (NILA), with the aim of securing the association's attractiveness and development in the long term.

In september 2019 the annual EILO meeting held place in Paris.
