Authorization

Selecting appropriate plant varieties for corporate and public areas requires experience with – and knowledge about – plants and their suitability.

Also, when designing and maintaining plant installations and plantings with companion plants, you need to be aware of which plants thrive together (and at which locations) in order to achieve a successful outcome.

We have an authorization scheme where members must apply for/renew their authorization once a year. Authorization is not required to become a member of Nordic Interior Landscaping Association(NILA), although our goal is that as many as possible are authorized. All members meet our membership requirements.

Authorized members must comply with several stringent requirements, and being able to document this once a year. Those who get authorized may use the symbol “NILA authorized company”.

When you contact a NILA associated business, you can count on being given good advice and professional help from horticulturally educated staff regarding:

  • shaping and planning
  • choice of suitable plants and pots
  • plant placement
  • choice of plant lighting
  • service and care of the plants

Plant Guarantee and Service

Plant guarantee and service is included in professional plant servicing. The service consists of educated and experienced staff tending to the plants and companion planting in accordance with the agreement. The plant guarantee includes replacement of all plants that have changed appearance to such a degree that they’ve lost their original decorative value – without any additional cost to the customer.
