Nordic Interior Landscaping Association
– Scandinavian Trade Association for Interior Landscaping and Plant Services
Our work revolves around environments with living green plants
NILA (Nordic Interior Landscaping Association) is an association of independent, serious and environmentally conscious businesses that work with interior landscaping. NILA’s aim is to spread the industry’s knowledge on the values of having living plants in private and public environments.
The trade association Skandinaviska Växtinredare (formerly SVIR) was founded in 1996. During the autumn of 2002, Norwegian businesses were invited to a collaboration and the result was a Scandinavian trade association. What all member businesses have in common is that their work revolves around environments with living green plants. In 2012, SVIR wanted to evolve its trademark and changed name to Nordic Green and in 2020 the name was changed to the Nordic Interior Landscaping Association (NILA).
We want to gather all Nordic interior landscapers and bring the industry forward.
Plants should be a natural feature where people live and work.
Our vision is to spread knowledge about the industry and information about the many advantages and values that come from having living plants around you.
We will unite all Nordic interior landscapers and push the industry forward through development.
The goal is for all customers to choose Nordic Green associated business.
We live by the motto PASSION FOR PLANTS.
The customer should always be able to rely on members of Nordic Green to perform to the best of their abilities.
Our Core Values
Through our joint experience, we possess enormous competence. Our knowledge and what we all in all offer makes us hard to compete with. Knowledge means stability and security and is a good foundation for long-term relationships with employees, customers and collaborative partners. Knowledge is also power. And with power comes responsibility. If you take responsibility, you achieve good quality and show a serious approach. Responsibility also means keeping your promises. Responsibility is based on honesty and creates trust.
Through development, what we have to offer is constantly expanded. Development also means that we try to see possibilities where others see problems. Or, to simply provide customers with solutions to problems – before they happen. To be able to create a positive complete experience, we have to be one step ahead, collaborate and exchange experiences. We would like to be seen as innovative, flexible and adjustable.
We are driven by a strong calling to deliver added value in everything we do and to never stagnate.
We go to work because we want to and not because we have to. We love what we do and put our souls into our tasks. That’s what happens when work isn’t just a job, but also a calling. We are so fortunate to be able to work with products and solutions that are aesthetically pleasing. Beautiful arrangements where we can see how design and exciting combinations of different materials take shape. Community spirit in the industry is important. It is a strength to hatch ideas and produce solutions together in a community where you can both share your own experiences and take part in the successful projects of others.
